Looks like my Mum's dining room when she gets 8 round her set intented for 4 (Well there are 4 chairs but room for 6 roomy spaces and 8 squished spaces)
it's not the table that matters, but the food you put on it (oh, and i guess the people sitting around it... but really, the food is most important. :))
Pinju -- I think as long as the food and/or the people are good, then you're fine. When they're both horrid, you have problems. (Fortunately in this instance, both the food and company were lovely.)

I like that the sports rivalry in your family extends to chairs. Go Cats :)
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who rolls out the wheeled fancy chairs for guests :-)
Ginny -- I refuse to the sit in the UofL chair.
Jamie -- Way to keep it classy! ;)
