Earlier we were chatting about where we were when we heard about 9/11. I was at school. I wanted to watch the news but my Mum and Aunt asked me to play with my cousin in the other room - she was like 6 or 7 and didn't understand what was going on.
I was in class in high school and the Dean came over the PA a few minutes before the end of class telling us to turn off the TV and come to the gym when the bell rang for prayer (I went to a Catholic school). So we turned on the TV to see what was going on and there it was. We only saw about five minutes of coverage before heading to the gym and I just remember being so confused and knowing we were "under attack" but what does that mean? I had the images of Pearl Harbor in my mind, but yeah. We spend the rest of the day watching TV.
