My Not-Quite-500 Reasons to Love (500) Days of Summer (not necessarily in order):
- Multiple scenes in IKEA.
- Joseph Gordon-Levitt a lot cuter now than he was in 10 Things I Hate About You.
- Brilliant soundtrack.
- Adorable clothes! I'm trying to convince Lee he wants to start wearing cardigans and sweater vests.
- Adorable, wise-beyond-her-years little sister character.
- Sweet, fun, not too sentimental, still optimistic story.
- Funny from the start. It opens with an "Author's Note" that was something to the effect of, "This is a completely fictional story. Any relation to real people or events is purely coincidental. Especially if your name is [Random girl name I can't remember]. Bitch." Love it!
- References to another one of my favorite movies with a top-notch soundtrack, The Graduate.
- I had almost forgotten about the penis game! Penis!

Thats most definitely on my list of films to see. I think it comes out here in September or something like that!
I really want to see this, but a friend of mine said it's a no-boyfriend type of movie and that he heard of couples that got into fights after seeing it. Still, it looks good!
I can't really imagine couples getting into fights over this unless they were fighting already. Haha! But I still definitely recommend it!
Yay! I'm really wanting to see this, and I'm glad to hear my husband might actually enjoy it too!
I commented back when the post when live but just came via the Similar Posts widget thingy.
I love the film - we play a variation of the penis game where you shout bogies - it's a little less rude and can be played with 9yos lol.
Haha Hannah! That sounds awesome.
